Tableau

This was our favorite meal for our trip to New Orleans. We had brunch on their patio and the atmosphere was excellent as well as the service and the food and drinks were so good. Shrimp and grits were the best I've ever had!

The location is everything! If you can get an upstairs balcony seat, then the food is an afterthought. Just soak in the sights and sounds of Jackson Park! The food is good typical NOLA faire, though, so you won't be disappointed. I'd recommend choosing a second spot for dessert.

We were impressed by the high quality of the food we ate. We had the fish of the day and it had great flavour. Sitting on the balcony was a great option to watch the world go by. A little pricey but we felt the quality was worth it for the dining experience.

Everything we had was amazing. So yourself a favor and have the carrot cake. Service was amazing too... especially since we sis not order alcohol.

Staff was very helpful for us tourists. Made suggestions on mocktail drinks and made a variety oyster plate that wasn't on the menu since I've not had then before. Very nice restaurant that people can appreciate.

A perfect brunch place. If you are celebrating something, the staff do efforts above and beyond to make sure you feel special on the occasion. The service is fast, food is good and portions are enough. You get treats in between from the chef and good recommendations. I tried oysters for the first time and I am looking forward to try them next time. And not to forget they play music for you at the table, and especially sings for you as per the occasion. Definitely recommend this place. Just don't forget to book a reservation in advance. It helps them plan in advance and you won't regret it. Believe me.

Great environment and great drinks. This is definitely one of the better restaurants in the french quarter. They have excellent cocktails, mocktails, and drinks all together, but also a terrific french inspired menu and oysters

An amazing place! The food is high end but well worth the price. They have balcony seating that offers a great view of Jackson Square. The staff is very friendly.

The food and service was absolutely outstanding!! My server's name was Sarah, she was so amazing!! Can't wait to return to eat again.

The ambiance in this place is amazing. Think Princess and the Frog vibes. Live jazz band playing, lots of large windows and natural lighting. I had the shrimp and grits. It was good, but the portion size wasn’t very large for the price paid. My mom said the chicken in her salad was dry, and my aunt felt as though the gumbo was pretty basic (and again portion size was small). Great for brunch. They were not stingy with refills on the bottomless mimosas!

The moving jazz band was an highlight. Great tuba player. BBQ Shrimp and grits was great.

The atmosphere was wonderful. We had a table overlooking the courtyard. The staff was so courteous and friendly, and the food was exceptional. Our daughter, son- in- law, and grandson drove down from Alabama to have dinner with us at Tableau. We all had a wonderful, memorable time. Definitely someplace we will go again!

Tableau is a good choice for a romantic dinner. The food is good classic New Orleans cuisine. The staff was extremely friendly and very attentive. It is a very elegant setting for a good dinner and some prime people watching in the quarter.

We wondered in here on a whim and are so glad we did. The food was incredible, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was amazing. Can’t say enough about how great the staff was while helping us. We got a shrimp appetizer (fried green tomatoes at the bottom were delicious), a few drinks, and the vanilla creme brûlée. All fantastic.

Upper crust dining with great service and balcony tables on two streets. Right across from St Peters Square. Can be pricey, but hey, it's NOLA.

Elegant atmosphere, we had the best evening in a New Orleans restaurant. Visiting the city for over 30 years, this place delivered for setting, service, and food. I test the kitchen for very traditional fare. Looking for quality, not too much innovation on classics. Turtle soup, Shrimp and Grits more than satisfied my requirements and excelled with my guest's Red Snapper. Will return here in April for more of this place.

Great food, amazing service, and $15 bottomless mimosas. What more could you want? I got the Eggs Tableau which is their creole take on eggs Benedict and it was the best one I've had. Thank you!

Tableau remains a favorite for our family. The restaurant is the embodiment of upscale casual, with a warm but quiet atmosphere and plenty of seating options. The menu is great at any time of day, but their happy hour is far and away the best available in the Quarter.

Wish I could give more stars!! We bring everyone that visits us to Tableau, we’re regulars for their brunch and love everything about it! The band for Sunday brunch is so freaking cute and we look forward to seeing our friend’s faces when they come to the table to play. The food - amazing. I usually get the French onion soup, 6 oysters, and the veal & grits. The only thing is I wish they used champagne or Prosecco in their mimosas instead of sparkling wine, I usually opt out of bottomless and get mixed drink or Bloody Mary.

Staff and service were excellent. Appetizers were good, beet salad was good. However, the redfish had a mushy texture, meaning it was frozen, probably more than once. I took off two stars for this, as there is no reason for a quality restaurant in South Louisiana to not have fresh fish daily.

Beautiful views from their nice balcony. Not sure about the value proposition if sitting inside. Cocktails are well priced and tasty.
